ABOUT
About Me
I’m Kristin Lehrer, the founder of Voolenvine Yarns. As a passionate indie dyer, I’m dedicated to producing high-quality hand-dyed yarns.
From my home dye studio in Port Chester, NY, I use ethically sourced wool and acid dyes to create unique colorways. Inspired by my travels, Gothic literature, and moody vibes, I craft a rich, evocative palette to spark creativity in knitters and fiber enthusiasts worldwide.
My meticulous dyeing process ensures every skein is a truly unique work of art, perfect for your next knitting or crocheting project.
I’m also known for my YouTube channel, where I vlog about my makes—mostly knitting, crochet, sewing, and other crafty adventures. I upload a new video regularly, so be sure to check it out!
When not dyeing yarn, you’ll find me in my craft room, knitting or sewing with my cat, Bella. When I'm not being "indoorsy," I enjoy dabbling in photography and road-tripping with my husband, Dennis.
I hope my work inspires you to create something you love.
